I have been using gentoo since about January of 2026, but had tried it earlier in 2025, and it has been essentially perfect. I enjoyed the fine control of something such as arch, but it didnt feel perfect. Gentoo fixed that, as I can remove features from programs I dont want, e.g. bluetooth, cups, soystem D.
